Soviets found halibut concentrations in the Bering Sea according to the Commercial Fisheries Review dated October 1964 No. 10

An item reported that a Soviet RT-trawler of the Soviet Northern Fisheries Administration found halibut concentrations in the Bering Sea at depths of 850-1,000 metres. The result was that around 20 Soviet trawlers now were active inthat area with good catch results.
