An item reported that the Spanish cruiser Reina Regente (1) was lying at the Arsenal at Cadiz for fitting out for a voyage. She was first to pick up in North Spain the naval cadets on board of the Carlos V and Pelayo and to continue with a training cruise to Northern European harbours.

1. Protected cruiser laid down at Arsenal del Ferrol, Spain in 1899, launched in 1906, completed on 20 September 1908, in the 1920s serving as training ship and discardedin 1926.
