An item reported that the number of enemy submarines positioned west of the longitude of the Azores on the Atlantic Ocean was estimated to be around in stead of the 30 mentioned on 21 April. The disposition was about the same except there was no very recent evidence for presence off the Brazilian norht coast available. The J.I.C. commented that the estimates were deducted using the little bit of available information dealing with the movements of the submarines.
