The Kovda was a similar but not exact sister of the Don. Call sign UPLG. Homeport Vladivostok. Built by Laxevaag Maskin- & Jernskibsbyggeri, Bergen, Norway in 1922. Gross tonnage 1,598 tons, under deck 1,193 tons, net tonnage 932 tons and as dimensions 246.2 x 37.8 x 15.5 x 17 (loaded) feet. Normal cruising speed 8 knots. Screw steamship. Stricken in 1960.
