Part of Iver Huitfeldt-class reusing the basic hull design of the Absalon-class frigates preceded by the Niels Juel-class corvettes. Built in blocks and assembled at the Odense Steel Shipyard. Laid down on 22 December 2009, launched on 21 December 2010 and commissioned on 7 November 2011.
