Dutch cargo-passenger ship Talisse 1930-1961

Call sign PHWK. Launched by Caledon Shipbuilding&Engineering Co. Ltd, Dundee, Scotland with yard number 331 on 15 Feburary 1930, delivered to owner/manager N.V. Stoomvaart Maatschappij Nederland, Amsterdam, Netherlands in June 1930 and arrived at Kaimishi, Kure, Japan to be broken up on 11 September 1961. Gross tonnage 8,169 tons, under deck 7,380 tons, net tonnage 4,931tons, deadweight10,362 tons, grain capacity 604,360 cubic feet, bale capacity 511,960 feet and as dimensions 468.8 x 62.3 x 32.6 feet.
