Japanese steamship Sado Maru loaded coal at Cardiff, Wales acccording to the Dutch newspaper Bataviaasch nieuwsblad dated 2 March 1904

An item dated The Hague, Netherlands 1 March reported that the day before the Japanese steam ship Sado Maru loaded with coal left Cardiff, Wales probably via the Cape.(1)
