American destroyer USS Farquhar reported sinking after collision according to the Dutch newspaper Limburger koerier dated 16 February 1923

An item dated Norfolk, Virginia, USA 15th reported that during manoeuvres near Panama the destroyer Farquhar was rammed by a battleship and was sinking.(1)
