An item dated Tokyo, Japan 4th reported that during manoeuvres near Kioessioe the Japanese battleships Nagato (1) and Moeisoe (2) collided. Of the Nagato was the bow damaged.

1. Part of Nagato-class, preceded by Ise-class succeeded by planned Tosa-class and realized Yamato-class, laid down by Kure Naval Arsenal on 28 August 1917, launched on 9 November 1919, completed on 15 November , commissioned on 25 November 1920, stricken on 15 September 1945 and sunk as a target in the American Operation Crossroads nuclear tests on 30 July 1946.
2. Mutsu. Part of Nagato-class, preceded by Ise-class succeeded by planned Tosa-class and realized Yamato-class, laid down by Yokosuka Naval Arsenal on 1 June 1918, launched on 31 May 1920, commissioned on 24 October 1921, lost due to an internal explosion on 8 June 1943 and stricken on 1 September 1943.
