Sale of the Dutch whaler Jonge Cornelis in 1759

Auction at the Nieuwezyds Heeren Loogement, Amsterdam, Netherlands on Monday 8 October 1759 at 18:00 o’clock of  the Dutch whaler Jonge Cornelis, extra ordinary well sailing fluyt, commandeur Cornelis Hendriksz Kee, built in 1729, dimensions 112½ x 28.2½ x 12.2½, verdeck 6.6 and stuurplecht 8.9 Amsterdam feet. Lying between Kraans en Hannekes Boom, Amsterdam. Sold for 5.500 to the widow Beukens and Nauta Beukens.

Cornelis Hendriksz Kee, Greenland commandeur between 1752-1758 and in 1759 Davis Strat commandeur, for Joannes de Wit de Jonge, Amsterdam with catch result 1 whake 50 barrels blubber 61 quardelen oil.
