Pennant 61. Part of Dido-class Dido-sub-class preceded by Arethusa-class succeeded by Fiji-class and were designed to replaced the C- and D-classes cruisers, Laid down by Cammell Laird, Birkenhead, England on 21 November 1939, launched on 6 September 1941, commissioned on 8 August 1942, decommissioned on 6 July 1946, in reserve between 1946-1955 and broken up 19 November 1955.
