Characteristics of German pocket battleship Admiral Graf Spee as reported to the British Admiralty on 14 January 1936

An item reported that the German Marineattaché captain Erwin Wassner at London informed the British Admiralty conform the Anglo-German Naval Agreement dated 18 June 1935 that the panzerschiff Admiral Graf Spee was laid down on 1 October 1932 as Ersatz Braunschweig decided by government on 30 June 1932 and completed on 6 January 1936. Standard displacement (article 6 of Treaty) 10,000 tons/10,160 metric tons and as dimensions 181,7 (waterline) x 21,66 (extreme beam at or below waterline) x 5 (mean draught at standard displacement) metres. Heaviest calibre not mentioned.
