Laid down by AG Weser, Bremen, Germany in 1901, launched on 22 April 1902, commissioned on 12 May 1903, mother ship for minesweepers after 1918, decom, missioned in February 1920, recommissioned as training cruiser on 25 May 1921, decommissioned on 1 December 1923, stricken on 15 January 1930, became a barracks ship in the 1930s, recommissioned as floating anti aircraft battery at Wilhemshaven, Germany in May 1940, scuttled on 3 Ma9 1945, salvaged and broken up between 1948-1949.
