Constructed upon the single hull type. A light superstructure to be erected over the whole length of the ship. Aft compartment sleeping quarter for 4 men, 2-53,3cm torpedo tubes in the bow loaded from inside the hull, will be carried in the tubes, 1-2cm machine gun, 3 mine rails each independent from the other are provided for each of them supporting 3 mines on above the water so that 9 mines of 200 kilo totally can be carried. Maximum speed 12 (surfaced)-7 (submerged) knots. Range surfaced 8 knots/1,500 nautical miles and submerged 4 knots/45 nautical miles. Crew numbered 16 men. Maximum diving depth 100 metres time to flood ballast tanks 20 seconds. Dimensions 41,90 (over all) x 4,03 (moulded) x 1,39 (mean) metres and a displacement 255 (surfaced)-300 (submerged) tons.
