The British East Indiaman William Miles returning from Bengal according to the Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 14 July 1818

London, 10 July. The William Miles of the East Indies Company arrived the day before yesterday at Lymington where one of her officers went on land with papers of Bengal and Madras destined for the company and letters for sir Hudson Lowe of the office of colonies. The William Miles which left Madras 27 February arrived 12 April at St. Helena and continued her voyage 17 April.
