Hamburg, 10 July. According to the so-called Lister der Bürse Halle left the Nordborg master J.C. Altmann flying Danish colours 9 April Havana, Cuba and was 11 July by a pirate flying the flag of Buenos Ayres hold. His crew was ordered to leave the decks and her master and a certain Mr. Kausler were brought on board of the privateer. Although Altmann claimed he was neutral he and his crew were hold prisoner for 5 days and 4 nights and finally set on land at an island called Bay de Cadiz with nothing else as their clothes. On that island lived just two fishermen. The next day intended the crew of the privateer to kill them but as some of the crewmembers of the Nordborg escaped without being armed by the riffle shots they were left in peace and arrived25 April after 60 miles walking at Havana.
