Russian deposit for building merchant ships in the Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper Het nieuws van den dag voor Nederlandsch-Indië dated 28 October 1939

An item reported that a large Russian deposit with a value of 10.000.000 guilders was available to pay for the building of a 9,000 tons motor ship and three tugs in the Netherlands.
