Dutch torpedo boat III used for petrol fuel experiments according to the Dutch newspaper Algemeen Handelsblad dated 28 June 1891

An item reported that at Willemsoord experiments were to be executed with the so-called Melvinor 0,37cm guns. The torpedo boat III was for this purpose fitted out and was to depart Hellevoetsluis.
