Naval operations of the Dutch East Company at Makassar according to the Generale Missive dated 5 December 1742

Letters from this factory dated 16 and 25 November 1740, 26 April, 17 may, 11 June, 27 Augustus and 8 October 1741 and two secret letters dated 15 May and 11 June 1741 were brought to Batavia by the Gaasperdam and the Buvegnies. The value of the cargos, mainly sapan wood, was ƒ 22.469.
