Movements of the Dutch corvette Zr.Ms. Pallas and screw steamship 1st class Zr.Ms. Adolf Hertog van Nassau according to the Dutch newspaper Heldersche en Nieuwedieper Courant dated Thursday 4 May 1865

An item dated Den Helder the 3rd reported that the Dutch corvette Zr.Ms. Pallas (1) underway to the Netherlands was expected to arrive any moment at Vlissingen and that the frigate Zr.Ms. Adolf van Nassau (2) would return in November to the Netherlands.

1. Flush deck corvette, Netherlands, on stocks at Rotterdam, Netherlands 7 June 1839, launched 19 June 1845, last mentioned 1873, dimensions 39,50m x 10,80m x ?, 900 tons displacement, 22 guns.
2. Screw steamship 1st class. Displacement 3.750 tons and as dimensions 62.36 (over all) x 15,72 x 6,80 metres. An armament of 51 guns and crew numbering 500 men. Horsepower 450 hp. Laid down at the navy yard at Vlissingen on 4 December 1858, launched on Saturday 8 June at 13.30 o’clock 1861 (first intention was to launch her on the 13th], since 1879 guard ship and in 1918 sold to be broken up.
