Danish brig August Wilhelm sighted Dutch frigate Phoenix bound for Phoenix, Dutch East Indies according to the Dutch newspaper Middelburgsche Courant dated 7 April 1840

An item dated Middelburg, Netherlands the 6th reported that on 26th January the Danish brig August Wilhelm captain R. Bohn sighted 14˚12’ south latitude west of Greenwich the Dutch frigate ship Phoenix captain H. Eeltjes bound for Batavia, Dutch East Indies.
