Austrian protected cruiser Kaiserin Elisabeth visited Dutch East Indies coming from Singapore according to the Dutch newspaper Java-bode dated 11 April 1893



An item dated Batavia, Dutch East Indies 11th reported the arrival of the Austrian steam warship Kaiserin Elisabeth captain Von Becker coming from Singapore. The edition of the 28th reported her departure on the 27th.(1)

1. Of the Kaiser Franz Joseph I protected cruisers. Laid down at the Pola naval yard [Pula, Croatia] in July 1888, launched on 25 September 1890, completed on 23 January 1892 and scuttled by her own crew at Tsingtao, China on 2 November 1914.
