In the order administration dated 15 December 1879 was the order for account of the Dutch Department of navy board Willemsoord described as the delivery of two steam steering gears Bow McLachlan’s Patent for the Dutch monitors Zr. Ms. Matador and Draak for a contracted price of ƒ 18.260. Building costs ƒ 13.324,14 (devices ƒ 7.153, material ƒ 14.4120, labour ƒ 1.488,71, 65% expenses on labour ƒ 967,66 and travels cost+adjusting ƒ 2.273,57) resulting in a profit of ƒ 4.935,86.
