Ambitious British naval budget 1906-1907 asked according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1906-1907 No.4

An item reported that under the British navy budget 1906-1907 approval was asked for building 4 battleships (probably dreadnoughts), 5 ocean going destroyers, 12 coastal destroyers and 12 submarines. On 1 April were being built 6 battleships, 10 armoured cruisers, 5 ocean going destroyers, 12 coastal destroyers, 15 submarines, 1 royal yacht and 1 maintenance ship. The speed of the ocean going destroyer was estimated to be 33 miles, of the coastal destroyers 26 miles while as experiment 1 36 miles vessel was built.
