Of the D 1-class. Launched at F. Schichau, Elbing, Germany with yard number 324 on 19 December 1886, commissioned as D 2 on 27 April 1887, renamed D 1 on 1 August 1887, used as a torpedo boat flagship, modified by Schichau between 1900-1901, became the stationary yacht Carmen after May 1905, serving as a fleet tender in the Baltic Sea between 1907-1909, in 1914 used as a coastal defence ship, stricken on 2 August 1921 and the same year at Wilhelmshaven, Germany scrapped. Displacement 249 (design)-300 (maximum,) tons and as dimensions 56.05 (over all) x 6.60 x 1.83 (fore)-3.40 (aft). With a horsepower of 2.200 (design)-2.020 (maximum) was her maximum speed 20.6 knots. Range with 56 tons coal bunker capacity and a speed of 15 knots was 1.940 and with 18 knots 660 nautical miles. Original armament consisted of 6x1-3.7cm machine guns and 3x1-35cm torpedo tubes.
