An item reported that four shipyard labourers who were aboard of the destroyer Laverock during her trial behaved bravely. When the ship stranded in the Clyde were the men present in the boiler room when the walls torn and the water came in. They managed the shut down to shut down the oil supply preventing a possible explosion.(1)
