American whaler Heroine visited South Africa according to the The Cape of Good Hope Almanac and Annual Register for 1846

An item reported the arrival in the Table Bay on 29 September by the American whaler Heroine with a tonnage of 337 tons, master D.P. West, coming from New Bedford on 4 June and departing on 17 October.
