American whaling bark Harvest visited South Africa according to the The Cape of Good Hope Almanac and Annual Register for 1846

The New Pictorial and Illustrated Family Magazine established for the diffusion of useful knowledge, 

vol. III. Robert Sears editor, New York 1846.

An item reported the arrival in the Simon’s Bay on 1 January 1845 by the American whaling bark Harvest with a tonnage of 262 tons, master W. Brooks and departing on 13 January.
