No official reports avaible dealing with the Battle of the Coral Sea according to the U.S. Joint Intelligence Committee Daily summary dated 10 May 1942

An item reported that there were still no official reports available dealing with the Battle in the Coral Sea.(1) The withdrawal of the Japanese striking force seemed to be correct but could not be confirmed. It seemed that prior to the end of 8 May all Japanese warships in the Truk-Melanesia area arrived at time to participate in the battle.
