Russian submarine S-55 sinking four German transports in 1943

American naval attaché at Moscow, Russia reported in June 1943 referred to newspapers stating that captain 3d rank Lev Shuskin commanding the Sub Northern Fleet just sunk 4 enemy transports. He commanded the S-55 which was recently transferred via Panama and was probably still on board.(1)

1. The S (Stalinec)-class laid down by Dalzavod (Vladivostok) on24 November 1936, launched on 27 November 1939, commissioned on 25 July 1941 and lost in December 1943?
