Built in 1848 as the Cazique by William Patterson. Commissioned in spring 1948 in the German Federal navy. After this navy was abolished, sold to the General Steam Navigation Co. Ltd., London, England on 12 December 1852, renamed ss Holland and sunk in a collision with the ss Gertrude in the Thames in the vicinity of Deptford, England on 1 February 1860, salvaged and repaired and sold to be broken up in December 1878. Tonnage 448 tons and as dimensions 44.71 (waterline)-51.02 (over all) x 8.6-14.4 x 2.44 (fore)-2.74 (aft) metres. Horsepower 700 ihp/180 nhp. Speed 8 knots. Armament 2-68pd bomb guns.
