Dutch navy squadron towards the Mediterranean according to the Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 10 June 1844

The Hague, 9 June. The squadron commanded by prince Hendrik der Nederlanden departed from Flushing 5 June destined for the Mediterranean. Due to contrary winds was she the next day still off Oostende. The squadron consisted of the frigates Zr. Ms.Rijn (1) and Jason (2), brig Snelheid (3) and the schooner Dolfijn (4).

2. Frigate 2nd class, on stocks at navy yard Rotterdam 1824, launched 1829, guard ship 1847, sold to be broken up 1850, 1461 tons displacement, 44 guns.
3. On stocks at navy yard at Flushing 1833, scrapped 1849, sold 1850, dimensions 28,00m x 7,70m x 3,70m, 14 guns.
4. Brigantine? On stocks at navy yard at Flushing 31 May 1842, launched February 1844, stricken 1856, dimensions 28,50m x 8,70m x ?, 252 tons displacement, 6 guns.
