An item reported the arrival at Willemstad, Curacao on Wednesday the 21st of the Dutch brig Zr.Ms. Panter captain lieutenant Buys coming from St. Eustatius. On board was surgeon 2nd class Schorrenberg now stationed at Curacao.(1)

Dutch frigate ship De Hoop bound for St. Eustatius according to the Dutch newspaper Middelburgsche Courant dated 13 December 1759

An announcement reported that the frigate ship De Hoop captain Hans Andriessen Smit with a length of 98½ feet (prow) and armed with 10 guns was to be ready at the end of January 1760 to depart Middelburg destined towards St. Eustatius with or without an escort. For more details about an any cargo could be asked at bookkeeper François Gaaswyk in Middelburg. The edition dated the 27th sail that the destination was St. Eustatius and Curacao.

An item reported that the Dutch brig Zr.Ms. Venus (1) via the islands St. Eustatius and St. Martin {Sint Maarten) departed towards Surinam. The arrival of the frigate Zr.Ms. Prins van Oranje (2) and the brig Zr.Ms. Haai was expected on short notice.

An item dated Amsterdam, Netherlands the 6th reported that on 13 March between Guadeloupe and Antigua the Dutch brig of war Zr.Ms. Kemphaan was contacted. Everything was well onboard. She left on 10 February Hellevoetsluis, Netherlands towards St. Eustatius.
