Naval operations of the Dutch East Company at Ceylon according to the Generale Missive dated 10 February 1733

The Land van Belofte and the Duifje arrived coming from Ceylon 9 and 14 January 1733. The first brought from Mocca 40.000 lb ‘calaturs’-wood and 20.000 lb Bangka tin. At Ceylon arrived in the period 8-25 October 1732 the Oostkust, Wickenburg, Schuitwijk en Meermond. There were enough ships available for the homeward bound voyage.
