Bulgaria building torpedo boats according to the Dutch newspaper Machineblad 1908-1909 no. 6

An item referred to the magazine Schiffbau which reported that the 100-ton torpedo boats now being built at the shipyard of Schneider, Chalout-sur-Saône performed very well during the trial of one measured mile. Instead of the designed 26 miles was 27,7 miles achieved. The boats had as dimensions 38 x 4,4 metres and were armed with 3-45cm torpedo tubes and 3-4,7cm quick firing guns. The two triple compound engines delivered at 330 rpms 2.000 ihp and the two water tube du Temple boilers with a heating surface of 220 square metres delivered steam with a pressure of 17 atmosphere.(1)

1. Conway’s All the world’s fighting ships 1906-1921 mentioned the Drski-class consisting of the Drski, Smeli, Hrabri, Strogi, Letjashchi and Shumni. The Drski is nowadays a museum ship at Varna.
