Swedish navy officer appealed for just two kind of torpedoes according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad 1915-1916 no. 2

An item referred to the proposal of a Swedish navy officer of the torpedo service to develop two kinds of torpedoes, one for long distance (6-10 kilometres) with a speed of 30 miles and one for small distance (5 kilometres) and being very fast. The latter kind was to be used by submarines. The existing torpedoes were according to him just suitable for practices, further more were the sea qualities of the destroyers to be improved, their torpedo armament to be strengthened and placed on more efficient places on board.
