The Persian navy according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad 1932 no. 6

An item referred to the magazine Schiffbau dated 15 August 1932 reporting that the Persian cabinet requested the Italian cabinet to sent a navy commission with as task the founding of an own Persian navy. Eight Persian officers were to be trained in Italy in which country already 3 gunboats were ordered to be built.
