Dutch steam tug Titan launched at Charlois, Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper Algemeen Handelsblad dated 10 May 1894

An item reported the launching on the 8th at the shipyard of Rijkee&Co. at Charlois, Netherlands of the screw steam tug Titan for account of the Stoombootreedereij voor het sleepen van schepen aan het Nieuwediep en te IJmuiden van en naar zee located at Amsterdam with as director A.D. Zur Mühlen. Length 146’. Fitted out with steam driven steering device, capstan and anchor pivot. The 850 ihp engine and two boilers were manufactured at the Kon. Mij. De Schelde at Flushing.
