An item reported that on Thursday afternoon at the shipyard Scheepsbouwwerf en machinefabriek H. de Haas at Maassluis, Netherlands with the help of a sheerleg the tug Mars 5 launched and baptized by Mrs. Kersk-Kranendonk, spouse of the director of the N.V. Stoomsleepdienst Mars of Rotterdam, Netherlands. The tug was fitted out with 1-300 hp Bolnes engine. Immediately afterwards was the keel laid down of the tug Mabi 14, the first of a range built for account of the N.V. Mij. Binnenvaart of Rotterdam, Netherlands.
