Dutch marines returning from the Dutch West Indies according to the Dutch newspaper Heldersche en Nieuwedieper Courant dated 10 December 1863

An item dated Den Helder the 9^th reported that the marines send earlier to the Dutch West Indies to support the obtain calmness during the emancipation of the slaves would return to the Netherlands on 1 January 1864. (1)
