Belgium born French navy officer ordered to built Swedish design gunboats according to the Dutch newspaper Rotterdamsche courant dated 21 July 1796

An item referred to a tiding received from Antwerp, Belgium reporting that a certain civilian named Muskyen or Muskven born at Antwerp, earlier in Swedish service was now a French naval officer with the order to built gunboats based on a Swedish design. The armament was to consist of 1-24pd gun fore and 1-12pd gun aft. The government called every (would be) sailor to engage and participated in the important expedition (mission?) of Muskyen.
