Of the H-class consisting of the Havfruen, Havmanden, Havkalen and Havhesten. Laid down at the navy yard at Copenhagen, Denmark on 12 September 1936, launched on 6 November 1937, commissioned on 6 May 1939, scuttled on 29 August 1943 to prevent capture by German forces, salvaged but not repaired by German forces, due to the high estimated costs not repaired in 1946, offered for sale on 18 November 1950, finally decommissioned on 7 July 1952 and sold to be broken up in December 1952. Call sign OUAC.

Displacement 335 (surfaced)-407 (submerged) tons and as dimensions 47,45 x 4,65 x 2,84 metres. Crew numbered 25 men. Mahcinery consisted of 2 B&W diesel engines supplying 1.200 bhp and 2 Bown Boveru Electro engines supplying 450hp resulting in a speed of 15.3 (surfaced)-7,2 (submerged) knots.
