British 1st Battleship Squadron arrived at Turkey according to the Secret Admiralty Weekly Intelligence Summary Nr. 63 for the week ending 28 February 1920

An item reported that the British 1st Battleship Squadron with 4 destroyers arrived on 21 February at Costantinople, Turkey. Commanding officer was vice admiral Sir Sydney R. Fremantle.(1)

1. Sir Sydney Robert Fremantle (16 November 1867-29 April 1958), in service between 1881-1928, promoted to the rank of full admiral.
