Call sign VGBS. Homeport Vancouver, Canada, United Kingdom-flagged, owner G.L. Shaw. Built by Collingwood S.B. Co., Kingston, Ontario, Canada in 1920, seized by Japanese off North Borneo on 12 December 1941, salvaged and sunk by American aircraft in 1944. Gross tonnage 2,410 tons, under deck 2.039 tons, net tonnage 1,451 tons and as dimensions 251.0 x 43.6 x 23.6 x 10.6 (light)-23 (loaded) feet. Reciprocating propulsion, single screw, horsepower 150 nhp,oil-coal fuelled, fuel bunker capacity 436 tons, range 4,100 nautical miles/9.5 knots and speed 9.5 (normal cruising)-11 (maximum) knots.
