Laid down 31 July 1893 at the navy yard at Pola, launched 9 May 1895 and commissioned 11 May 1898. Of the Monarch-class with sister ships Wien and Budapest. In February 1918 broke on board mutiny out. Since April 1918 used as an accommodation ship. Transferred to England in 1920 and finally scrapped. With a displacement of 5,878 tonnes/5,785 long tonnes/5,550 tons were her dimensions 99,22 x 17 x 6,6 metres or 325/5’x 55’9”x 22. The armament consisted of 2x2-24cm guns, 6-15cm guns, 14-4,7cm guns, 1-8mm machine guns and 4-45cm torpedo tubes. The armour of Harvey consisted of a 27cm belt, 6cm deck while the gun turrets were protected by 28 cm and the conning tower by 22cm. The vertical expansion engines and 12 boilers supplied 8,500 shp allowing a maximum speed of 15,5 knots. With a coal bunker capacity if 300-500 tons was a range of 2,200 nautical miles possible. . The crew numbered 423 men. Building costs 399,062 pound sterling.
