Dutch merchant bark ship Elizabeth en Johanna bought at Rotterdam, Netherlands by firm at Zierkzee according to the Dutch newspaper Zierikzeesche Courant dated Friday 20 June 1845

At Rotterdam, Netherlands will the in 1843 at Zierikzee, Netherlands launched bark ship Elizabeth en Johanna be sold on a public auction. In the edition dated Tuesday 1 July was reported that she was bought by the company of M.C. de Crane&Zoon of Zierikzee for ƒ 81,200 and that her master was to be H.H. de Boer.(1)

1. The edition of Tuesday 6 December 1842 published a item dated Zierikzee 3 December according to which she was launched the same day at the yard de Goede Intentie of shipbuilder J. Strickaert with a measurement of 300 lasten. She was coppered and build for account of the company of Smoth en Comp. and destined for the Dutch East Indies trade shipping with as master M. van Velthoven.
