Dutch bark ship Tjerimai sold at Amsterdam according to the Dutch newspaper Rotterdamsch Nieuwsblad dated 11 January 1898
An item dated Amsterdam 8 January reported that the shipbroker Alb. Binke sold the Dutch bark ship Tjerimai of the firm Aug. Hendrichs&Co. in Amsrerdam the same day for ƒ 2.700. She was a composite bark of 1.013 tons build at the shipyard De Nachtegaal of shipbuilder J.F. Meursing in Amsterdam. She arrived on 9 November 1897 at Amsterdam, where she still was, coming from Batavia captain W. van Duyn.
