New US naval program made according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1912-1913 no. 5

An item reported that on 15 May the Navy Commissions presented an improved budget for the navy to the House of Representatives in which both battleships were stricken. Proposed to built were 2 colliers or oil tankers with maximum costs 1.140.000 US dollars each excluded costs for armour or armament, 6 destroyers tankers with maximum costs 940.000 US dollars each excluded costs for armour or armament, 1 torpedo mother ship for 1.315.000 US dollars, 4 submarines totally costs maximum 2.240.000 US dollars. For 1912 was wanted hull and machinery 4.137.500 US dollars, torpedo boat 800.000 US dollars, armament and armour 765.000 US dollars and equipment 225.000 US dollars.
