Norwegian shipbuilding program according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1938 no. 6

An item referred to the magazine Proc. dated August 1938 that the Norwegian minister of defence announced a shipbuilding program for the coming next 4 years with as estimated costs 11.300.000 Dutch guilders including the expenses for the coastal defence. These costs were however excluded the 2.300.000 Dutch guilders of the budget year 1938. Of the 4 destroyers of the Sleipner-class was one to be completed in 1939-1939, a second one in 1939-1940 and two in 1940-1941. Further more ware 2 large 1.000-1.100 ton destroyers planed to be completed in 1940-1941 and in 1940 was the keel of a submarine to be laid down. One MTB was to be built abroad.
