Organisation of the German Hochseeflotte according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1911-1912 no. 8

An item reported that since 1 October the German so-called Hochseeflotte consisted of the flagship Deutschland, the 1st squadron of 7 dreadnoughts namely Ostfriesland, Thüringen, Helgoland, Westfalen, Nassau, Rheinland and Posen and the armoured ship Elsasz for which already a replacement was ordered and the 2nd squadron consisting of the armoured ships Preusen, Hannover, Schlesien, Schleswig-Holstein, Lothringen, Braunwschweig, Hessen and Pommern. Further more were added the cruisers Moltke, von der Tann and Yorck and the turbine cruisers Mainz, Kolberg, Dresden, Lübeck, Stettin and Cöln. The reserve division for the North Sea consisted of the Wittelsbach as core and her sister ships.
